“One should always be drunk. That's all that matters...But with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you chose. But get drunk.”
― Charles Baudelaire, Paris Spleen
The Vineyards
In the Vernezi pass, near the valley of Tempi, in the shadow of Mount Olympus, is located the Pikoulas estate. The vineyard grows on rocky slopes with good drainage. The Aegean breeze that pours through the opening of the valley and the coolness of the river Peinios (with which it borders), protect the grapes from extremes of temperature and create excellent climate conditions for the grapes to grow serenely and build up all the characteristics of this special terroir
